Ecommerce and Marketing Intern (Spring or summer, PAID)

Assists with the ecommerce site and marketing needs for the gift shops within the St. Luke’s Network. This position will be hybrid, allowing for remote work and work on site at the Bethlehem St. Luke’s Hospital Gift shop. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Contributes to the development of the ecommerce website including a marketing plan.
  • Design and create graphics, flyers, signs, templates, social media content, and marketing materials using Adobe Illustrator or related software.
  • Create marketing plans and develop branding guidelines for consistent use in gift shop marketing and social media.
  • Write content for websites and marketing projects.
  • Collaborates with marketing team and gift shop staff as needed for projects.
  • Works independently on assigned projects with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Attends meetings and professionally communicates with staff.
  • Assists customers at the gift shop and provides support with retail tasks.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.      Must maintain client confidentiality at all times.
2.      May not give medical advice or opinions.
3.      Knowledge of creative software Adobe, Canva or others
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
EDUCATION: College/university student pursuing a marketing, design, or related major
 
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Familiarity with marketing plans, ability to provide graphics and develop content.
 
WORK SCHEDULE: Day shift onsite and flexible remote work, 6-26 hours per week 

About the St. Luke’s Gift Shops
St. Luke’s has 10 Gift Shops throughout 8 campuses. Our customer base is 90% employee purchases, with 10% of the revenue coming from visitors to our campuses. The shops sell a variety of gifts, home goods, logo items, snacks, and drinks. 

The Ecommerce internship can start during the spring semester with the possibility to extend during the summer. Students will summer availability only may also apply, please note your available start date in a cover letter.
