Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator (Federal Work Study)

industries to innovate the personalized solutions that make CCC's programs so special. Far from mere donors, our partners play an active and invaluable role in the development and execution
of our programs by also providing in-kind support and volunteers. 
The relationships we cultivate throughout the planning process ensure that each CCC program
reflects an inspired approach to the challenges facing our most vulnerable populations. By
understanding and addressing the organizational goals of our partners, we are empowered to
align our interests with those of our communities in ways that foster trust and produce
uniquely effective solutions that deliver lasting value.

In this role you will report to the Executive Director and support the Social Media Consultant
and Videographer in the execution of the CCC's Marketing and Social Media Strategy to build
brand awareness, social media content, and engagement. 

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the Implementation of Caresparc Community Connections Marketing and Social Media
Strategy includes the following: 

o Assist in identifying ways to utilize social media to enhance volunteer recruiting efforts. 
o Assist in the posting of the Program Content Calendar on CCC social media platforms.
o Assist the Social Media Consultant in the development of written and visual content for social
media posts .
o Research relevant health articles and statistics for publication on CCC's social media platforms.
• Assist in the organization of CCC marketing collateral and Digital Assets, which include but are
not limited to:
o Digital Graphics 
o Print Materials 
o Writing and managing E-Blasts for CCC program partners
• Distribution of Press Releases to CCC Program Partners.
• Research local publications, community newspapers, magazines, etc, for potential ad
placement for CCC's programs
• Assist in maintaining and updating a media and influencer contact list.
• Review metrics and analytics to monitor social media page (Facebook and Instagram) traffic
and user engagement.
• Manage multiple assignments at once and work with Executive Director and Social Media
Consultant to prioritize accordingly.
Job Requirements/Internship Criteria:
• Must sign Caresparc Community Connections non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement.
• Maintain knowledge of social media trends and techniques.
• Preferred but not required - design work using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Ability to think critically.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to travel to CCC program sites
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment. 
•Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to conduct oneself in a courteous, helpful, engaging, and professional manner with
Caresparc Community Connections program partners and vendors
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and
Dropbox. 
• Creative Problem Solver
• Intern must provide their laptop.
Preferred but not required:
• Design work experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

Education:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations.
• Must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA;
• A copy of your most recent unofficial transcript will be required for consideration.
This internship is a hybrid opportunity consisting of both in-office and virtual work. 
Schedule: Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturday (Days and Hours to be determined)
