Community Development Coordinator (Federal Work Study)

3. Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Initiative: Free Fresh Produce Market
4. Artists and Creatives Health and Wellness Initiative

Community collaboration is at the heart of the CCC's community-building philosophy.
Our cross-sector partner network of 125 organizations leverages deep expertise across
industries to innovate the personalized solutions that make CCC's programs so special. Far from
mere donors, our partners play an active and invaluable role in the development and execution
of our programs by also providing in-kind support and volunteers. 
 
The relationships we cultivate throughout the planning process ensure that each CCC program
reflects an inspired approach to the challenges facing our most vulnerable populations.
By understanding and addressing the organizational goals of our partners, we are empowered
to align our interests with those of our communities in ways that foster trust and produce
uniquely effective solutions that deliver lasting value.

In this role, you will report to the Executive Director and the operations administrator to assist
in and execution of the CCC Community Development Strategy. Candidate must have a strong
desire to learn public and private sector community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the research of potential partnership opportunities which include but is not limited
to the following sectors: healthcare organizations, nonprofit/social service organizations,
academia, faith-based, fraternal organizations, social organizations that promote initiatives
around wellness, corporate partners, local businesses, municipalities, fitness organizations, and
school districts
• Assist in responding to email communications 
 
• Assist in the development and drafting of internal and external communications consisting of
documents/ materials to build and cultivate existing relationships with donors, volunteers,
community members, and other supporters of the CCC programs
• 
• Assist in updating and maintaining program databases which include but are not limited to
program participant information, sponsors/partners' contact information, and volunteers.
• Assist the Executive Director in the research of in-kind and financial support opportunities 
• Manage multiple assignments at once and work with the Executive Director and Operations
Administrator to prioritize accordingly.
• Assist in other aspects of CCC's operations as needed
Job Requirements/Internship Criteria:
• Must sign the Caresparc Community Connections confidentiality agreement.
• Preferred but not required design work using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Ability to think critically.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to conduct oneself in a courteous, helpful, engaging, and professional manner with
CCC partners and vendors. 
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and
Dropbox.
• Creative Problem Solver
• Intern must provide their laptop.
Preferred but not required: design work expertise using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

Education:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students who can demonstrate that they seek
to gain hands-on experience in grassroots community development and public and private
sector engagement.
• Must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA;
• A copy of your most recent unofficial transcript will be required for consideration.
This internship is a hybrid opportunity consisting of both in-office and virtual work. 
 
Schedule: Monday through Friday, occasionally Saturday (Days and Hours to be determined)
