2023 Summer Internship | Talent Acquisition Intern
School Year: Sophomore, Junior, Senior
Dates of the Internship: June 1st, 2023 – August 4th, 2023
Format and Location: Hybrid, Chicago IL
Camping World is looking for interns for the summer 2023 internship season to work closely with the Talent Acquisition team in our Human Resources department focusing on our internship program, recruiting, campaigns, and partnerships. As an intern, you will assist with daily operations and gain first-hand experience in the field. We are looking for someone who is driven and wants to be fully immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn and have a strong interest in talent acquisition and want to develop yourself as a professional further; this is the ideal role for you. Camping World internships are ten-week, full-time, paid internships that will provide a great opportunity for those that want to jumpstart their careers.
Responsibilities:
- Build out community and diversity partnerships with local organizations in the Chicagoland area
- Assist with the development of the summer internship program, and apply strategic thinking for future program planning
- Conduct benchmarking assessments to compare Camping World initiatives to other competing companies
- Utilize ADP Recruitment Manager to assist with creating job postings, job descriptions, and sending offers
- Travel throughout the community to develop connections and relationships with local organizations and universities
Qualifications:
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a concentration in Human Resources
- Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness to learn and take initiative on various projects and tasks
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and strict confidentiality of company information
- Strong analytical, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Must be diligent, organized, and highly detail-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes
