Afterschool Math or English Instructor and Tutor

Responsibilities
- Teach small groups (less than 8 students) or tutor 1 to 2 students in mathematics or English in grade levels from 1st to 10th grade.
- Grade homework assignments, tests, and/or essays (no work is required outside of class time).
Requirements
- College junior or higher majoring in English, math, education, or related field
- Ability to follow classroom formula and work as a team member
- Ability to work independently and teach the class on his/her own (with training and support)
- Ability to relate and work with students in a caring and confident manner
- Experience in a tutorial program preferred, but not required
