Production Manager Trainee

Scope:
Under the direction of the AM and through mentoring from individual Plant Managers, the PMT is responsible for learning to perform every position at the plant correctly and efficiently. The PMT must also familiarize himself with all aspects of people management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Learn how to perform every position in the plant efficiently and correctly
• Learn how to perform management duties
• Familiarize yourself with current production practices and learn to form new ones

Additional Skills and Abilities:
• Able to speak, read and write English
• Able to speak, read and write Spanish, or be willing to learn
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50 pounds

Education And/Or Experience:
• College graduate with some experience in manufacturing settings or previous construction experience.

Qualifications:
• Must successfully pass 84 ‘s pre-employment process, including but not limited to math, PSI and drug tests as well as a background check
• Must be willing to relocate
• Must have good leadership skills
• Must have good interpersonal skills
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work under pressure

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Directly responsible for activities and performance of the work activities of the associates on a shift
• Assist with the evaluations and counseling of shift associates

Pay and schedule:

$20/hr + monthly incentives

Monday through Friday

6:00 am to 3:30 pm
