Server Infrastructure IoT Intern

Are you a tech enthusiast with a passion for the Internet of Things (IoT) and server infrastructure? If so, our Summer Internship program offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of IoT-focused server infrastructure within a production environment. Join our team for a hands-on experience that will allow you to contribute to real-world projects and gain valuable insights into the rapidly evolving IoT field.

Responsibilities:

  • Production Environment Support: Assist in the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of server infrastructure within production environments to ensure maximum availability and reliability. 
  • IoT Systems Integration: Work with our team to set up, configure, and manage IoT devices, sensors, and gateways, ensuring seamless integration into our existing infrastructure. 
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Participate in the collection and analysis of data generated by IoT devices to gain insights and optimize system performance. 
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate in implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant standards to protect IoT systems and data. 
  • Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and resolve issues related to IoT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components. 
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their IoT requirements and provide solutions. 
  • Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest developments in IoT technology and propose innovative ideas for improving our infrastructure. 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering,  related field, or experience. 
  • Strong interest in IoT technology, server infrastructure, and production environments. 
  • Familiarity with server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies. 
  • Basic knowledge of IoT devices, protocols, and data analysis. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Permanent US work authorization.
