Sales Coordinator

Founded in 2010, New Tradition is one of the fastest-growing Out-Of-Home media companies in the United States as well as one of the largest independent operators of large format digital and static signage. With a focus on urban core environments, New Tradition provides advertising platforms for national brands and advertising agencies throughout the country. This includes signage in: New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Nashville, Miami, San Antonio, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.

 

Position: Sales Coordinator

 

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Marina Del Rey)

 

Overview: We're looking for a highly motivated, determined, detail oriented Sales Coordinator to help with day-to-day business operations of a rapidly growing media company. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter, who is comfortable working in a fast paced, process driven environment and possess the ability to think strategically when faced with changing conditions and demands. The purpose of the Sales Coordinator is to perform all administrative functions throughout the sales process, occurring both before and after the contract phase. This includes but is not limited to prospecting new customers leads for the sales team, preparing sales presentations and proposals, and coordinating the execution of advertising campaigns sold by the sales team. In addition, there may be other tasks assigned by Account Executives, Sales Manager, and/or Management.

 

The right mindset is more crucial than years of experience. We are seeking someone who is motivated with a desire to develop and with a no excuses mentality.

 

Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing sales presentations and proposals for Account Executives.
  • Coordinating, requesting, and managing client inventory holds through operations
  • Maintaining customer database or CRM by inputting customer requests and updates
  • Prospecting new customers leads
  • Coordinating and monitoring the ongoing activities and internal communications related to advertising campaigns
  • Continually updating marketing materials to ensure most current and accurate information is portrayed

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and computer-literate in databases and spreadsheets (i.e. Microsoft Office applications)
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate self-starter with a friendly personality who can work as part of a team with the ability to receive and provide feedback
  • Can-do and will-do attitude with and without direction and specific instruction
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Ability to timely and accurately enter and compile data
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to meet deadlines
  • High level of organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Creativity & initiative combined with commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of common public relations practices
  • Strong written (Email) and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and act on own initiative
