Summer BUILD Construction Intern

BUILD Interns at B2K Development, LLC work closely with management-level mentors in their specialty fields and are actively involved in current projects during our 8-week, paid summer internship program. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in pre-construction, construction as well as postconstruction related responsibilities. Interns will participate in a variety of tasks such as attending job meetings, performing take offs, assisting with drawing maintenance, scheduling, assisting with document control, compiling closing out documents, and working in Procore project management software as well as Microsoft programs. Interns will be interacting with Project Managers and Project Supers and will have the opportunity to experience day-to-day office and jobsite activities of assigned projects. REQUIREMENTS: 

• Currently a rising junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree at a two- or four-year academic institution. 

• Majoring in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field. 

• Self-starter who is proactive, eager to learn, creative, a problem-solver, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. 

• Strong interest in Construction at all levels. 

• Working knowledge of Construction terms, practices and software including ability to read drawings preferred. 

• Previous internship or work experience in the related field, preferred.
