Technical Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase to help customers understand how the products can benefit them via phone or online chat
  • Assist in the creation of technical proposals, quotes, and other documentation required for the sales process
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate and compelling technical content in proposals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, technical influencers
  • Assist in forecasting sales targets and contribute to the development of sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work and communicate effectively with automation engineers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
  • Knowledge of Industrial communication technologies.
  • Knowledge of network technologies
  • Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (preferred, but not necessary)
  • Experience in KepServerEx (preferred, but not necessary)
  • Technical Background of Industrial EtherNet and Fieldbus (preferred, but not necessary)
