Remote, Hybrid options are available if the intern is interested in attending events to take pictures, etc.

Duration: January 2024-May 2024 , May 2024 - September 2024 , September 2024 - December 2024

Our mission revolves around exposing girls from underserved backgrounds to higher education and high-earning careers through engaging initiatives such as college tours, company site visits, and personal development workshops.

Internship Overview:

Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc. is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Intern to join our dedicated team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for a college student interested in marketing, communications, and social impact to contribute to our mission and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young girls. 

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation: Develop compelling and impactful content for various channels, including social media, newsletters, and the organization's website.

2. Social Media Management: Curate, schedule, and analyze content across our social media platforms to raise awareness and engage our target audience.

3. Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to promote college tours, company site visits, and personal development workshops.

4. Collaboration: Work closely with program managers to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with the organization's goals and objectives.

5. Media Relations: Support in building and maintaining relationships with local media outlets to increase coverage of Yes, M.I.S.S. Inc.'s initiatives and impact.

6. Graphic Design: Create visually appealing materials, including flyers, brochures, and presentations, to enhance the organization's branding.

Qualifications:

1. Current enrollment in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

3. Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.

4. Creative mindset with basic graphic design skills.

5. Passion for empowering young girls and breaking down barriers to higher education and high-earning careers.

6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
