Artist Managers Internship

What We Are Seeking:

We are looking for bright, motivated, and dedicated interns to serve as Artist Managers and Booking Agents for our company. Artist Managers (AM) are broadly responsible for keeping artists happy in their relationship with a company – whether it be a record label, musical venue, a company whose brand or product an artist is endorsing, or an organization for whom an artist is creating promotional content. The heart of an AM’s job is building a good relationship and an open channel of communication with the artist, ensuring their satisfaction while identifying any problems and working efficiently to solve them.

Who Should Apply:

The job is entry-level for all applicants. You must have the educational requirement of a High School Diploma/GED/Diploma Equivalency.  You must able to receive credit from your university to eligible to apply for this position. While there is a shadowing internship period, individuals who are available and show explementary skills, motivation, and dedication will be signed on as full-time employees!

The Responsibilities of an Artist-Relations Manager Intern Are:

  • Keeping a consistent happy working relationship between clients (i.e. Music Industry Executives, A&R Representatives, and the artists that are a part of the company)
  • Relaying communication between the label and its artist and vice-versa, specifically their manager, A&R, and if need be, COO and CEO
  • Problem-solving any potential conflicts between the label and its artists

AMs can work a simple daily schedule in and out of an office or remotely. AMs will be responsible for making contact with clients in the music industry, handling paperwork, facilitating contracts, maintaining social media accounts, processing ticket requests, and scheduling events such as promotional trips, after-show parties, and launch and book events for the artist being represented.
