Structural Design Calculations for Commercial Glass, Glazing & Facade

Work of beautiful commercial glass projects with the latest techniques, codes and industry challenges.  Large span glass, mixed material facades and stunning high rises with advanced glazing system technologies are the future.   You didn't learn aluminum or glass in school.  Work with our team of Next Generation P.E.s who are company loyal and trained to lead, manage and serve clients with expert project management and design calculation skills.

  • Show interest in complexities of future materials not commonly taught in engineering degree's.  Glass, Aluminum, Mixed Materials.

ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S or M.S. from accredited university in Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering with minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Course in Steel Design required. Connection design (anchor, bolts, welding) important.
  • Familiar with ASCE-7, IBC and how to determine wind, snow, and seismic loads.
  • Ability to work from office in Kansas City, MO.
  • Exposure to coursework in Curtain Wall, Glass Storefront, Aluminum Design or Facade Design, a rare plus.
  • A passion for preparing detailed calculation packages.
  • Strong conversational English skills required for regular client communication.
