Summer Camp Lifeguard/Swim Instructor

Camp Lenox - a top summer camp in Massachusetts, is looking for talented lifeguards and swim instructors to teach swimming and be a camp counselor for children. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, travel, and explore another part of the country! We cover all costs; including Travel, Room & Board, Laundry + Salary ($2200-$2600 for the summer) 😊🏕

*Summer season begins June 15th and ends August 9th, 2024. *

Must have effective communication skills, and a strong sense of community connection. Other administrative duties will be required.

* Ability to communicate and work with children aged 7-16 of differing skill levels and provide them with the necessary instruction.

* Ability to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior management techniques.

* Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity.

* Must be able to live with children

* Ensure child hygiene

* Supervise children during mealtimes

* Red Cross WSI Certified or International Equivalent. (e.g. ASA Swimming Teacher Level 2)

* Lifeguard Trained is preferable
