Marketing & Client Engagement Fellow

Position: Marketing & Client Engagement Fellow 
Type of Role: Full-time internship, Summer 2024 
Location: Boston, MA preferred  

 

Are you an graduate student or young professional passionate about the power of investing to change the world?  

We are seeking a dynamic, values-driven Fellow to join our Marketing and Client Engagement team. 

CapShift is a mission-driven growth company working at the intersection of finance and impact to unlock the $1 trillion of charitable assets in the U.S. for impact investments into funds and enterprises. Responsibilities 

  • Build out CapShift’s social media content calendar and help develop to our social media strategy
  • Assist with various marketing channels, including email marketing, website management, and digital advertising
  • Assist with the creation of marketing and client engagement content including written pieces, video, audio
  • There will also be the opportunity to take on (or create) other projects that help drive the team’s success

 

Qualifications 

  • Current graduate student or young professional with 2+ years of work experience in marketing, social media, or client services
  • Curious and passionate about impact investing
  • Strong writing and editorial skills, with comfort in adapting content for difference audiences
  • Competency with graphic design preferred
  • Familiarity with video creation and audio editing is a plus
  • Able to learn and adapt quickly
  • Responsible and eager to take initiative
    • We’re a small team with a lot to do, so we will rely on you to manage your own projects (with our help) and pursue new project ideas to help us improve.
  • Finely attuned to detail
    • Strong proofreading skills, careful to double-check your work, and able to follow complex instructions? You’ve got what we’re looking for!
  • Upbeat and a team player
    • Supporting each other’s work is an integral part of our team culture, and we like to have fun doing it.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in deepening their experience in marketing, editorial or client services, particularly in the impact investing and financial services space. Fellows will be part of a fast-growing mission-driven startup with many opportunities for growth and self-directed work.

Compensation: The weekly rate for this position is $960 ($24 an hour, no overtime).
