Event Intern (Fall 2024) Jane Rae Events

The Jane Rae Internship is an exciting opportunity to experience the ins and outs of the event industry. The purpose of the internship is to not only help you grow in your abilities, but to provide support and assistance to the Jane Rae Team in a multitude of ways. Some of the primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:

➢ Keep rental inventory organized, clean and in pristine condition.

➢ Packing rental items for events/weddings.

➢ Driving to and from event locations (mostly weekends).

➢ Setting up/tearing down events in an organized and detailed manner.

➢ Attending initial, design, and other planning meetings with clients.

➢ Assisting with social media marketing.

➢ Assisting the floral design team in all aspects of floral design.

➢ Creating designs for events.

Commitment Requirements

We request that our intern team puts in 15-25 hours per week. Office hours are Tuesday - Friday 9am - 4pm. We will be flexible with hours during the week. You will be required to work most Saturdays and occasionally on Sundays.

*This is an unpaid internship during office hours. Event set ups and tear downs will be paid.*
