Communications & Marketing Intern

Solutions³ LLC is seeking a Communications & Marketing intern to provide support in functional business areas. In this position, the C&M intern will be involved in outbound marketing, drip campaigns, social media, sales opportunity tracking, client follow-up, and client relationship management.

This is an unpaid internship.

Eligibility
§ Must be a US citizen
§ Must be entering the 3rd or 4th year of their BA degree (4th preferred)
§ BA degree must be in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent.
§ This is a remote position but must be within 1-hour of the headquarter location.

Responsibilities
§ The Communications & Marketing Intern will assist in the areas of social media marketing utilizing the Zift Outbound marketing platform. The intern will set up marketing drip campaigns in the areas of Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Training, IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Operations (ITOM).
§ The intern will be involved in sales tracking and administration utilizing the ClaritySoft CRM platform, as well as existing and new client follow-up, and appointment setting.
§ The intern will contact various state, local, and higher education institutions where Solutions³ is on their preferred vendor or approved supplier list and provide company collateral regarding our solutions and training for procurement.
§ The intern will work on updating company collateral such as brochures, datasheets, and overview presentations.
§ The intern may also get involved in creating company training for cyber awareness training, or training on utilizing various application platforms, such as Zift.

Skills Required/Desired
§ General experience/familiarity with social media, the sales lifecycle, and a desire to see the sales side of technical solution selling.
§ Must be a strong written and verbal communicator
§ Must be detailed oriented and able to document processes, procedures, and client interactions.
§ The ideal intern has a technical background and is strong with the MS Office applications
