Human Resources Internship

We are searching for a Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. The intern will collaborate with the North American Human Resources department on a variety of tasks and projects covering all HR functions. This internship is ideal for current students interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources. If you don’t know what area of Human Resources you are most passionate about, this internship will provide a great overview of the HR functions in a generalist environment.

Our PAID internship will be for a 12-week period. This internship will be based out of our Upper Saddle River, NJ office. This is a hybrid opportunity, and the intern is expected to be in the office on a weekly schedule (3 days/week).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review resumes of applicants for multiple positions
  • Coordinate with candidates to schedule and confirm interviews
  • Post, update, and remove job ads from our applicant tracking system and other job boards
  • Assist in organizing company events
  • Assist with Learning & Development initiatives; identifying courses in LinkedIn Learning that align with employee goals and course requests
  • Research best in class practices for organizations of similar size across employer branding and engagement initiatives; provide findings
  • Conduct compliance audits
  • Digitize employee folders
  • Additional ad-hoc human resources projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field of study
  • Available to work approximately 30-40 hours per week
  • Previous internship experience a plus
  • Skilled in using Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience using Google Suite
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, with exceptional time management skills
  • Great written and verbal presentation skills
