Product Marketing Internship

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market surveys, and retail store audits, on product categories to gain knowledge of market and competitors
  • Research and analyze trends, hot products, new technologies, etc. in the category and report to management team
  • Create surveys using survey system to conduct consumer research and determine key insights
  • Provide administrative support for the team ensuring that deadlines are being met
  • Help to maintain the product marketing calendar to show when products will be available
  • Partner with other functional areas on content, visuals, collateral, user manuals for category
  • Database system work 
  • Completing ad-hoc projects

 

Requirements:

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Marketing
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
  • Previous corporate internship experience a plus
  • Skilled in using Microsoft applications (particularly with Excel and PowerPoint)
  • High level comfort navigating web searches
  • Strong research, forecasting and analysis skills 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to travel locally
