Marketing Intern

Position Overview:

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans to drive sales, retain customers, and create brand awareness. As part of the Omnichannel team, the intern will assist the marketing department in integrating Astound’s residential marketing roadmap and other projects and strategies into Asana project management/workflow platform.

  • This opportunity offers the flexibility to work from your home office or a nearby Astound office, or a combination of both.

 

A Day in the Life of the Marketing Intern:

  • Develop and enhance current marketing plans to drive sales, retain customers, and create brand awareness.
  • Maintain the status of ongoing projects, providing regular updates to the marketing team.
  • Assist with local marketing strategies and events.
  • Support the marketing team in creative content and collateral development, meeting and working with external agencies and internal designers.
  • Prepare marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in time-sensitive situations; aptitude to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing databases.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Education:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

 

Compensation:

The base compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. The base pay represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job.
