IT Billing Intern

Position Overview:

The IT Billing Intern will primarily assist the IT team and perform development building system interfaces and querying data tables. The Intern will conduct testing of the enhanced integration interface between Astound’s customer management platform, and downstream provisioning systems and network technologies. 

 

Where you will work:

  • This opportunity offers the flexibility to work from your home office or a nearby Astound office, or a combination of both.

 

A Day in the Life of the IT Billing Intern:

  • Standardize integration points and consolidate interfaces to reduce operational management needs, as well as increase efficiency, and capabilities.
  • Perform hands on analysis identifying the necessary customers/network/equipment information needed for service activation.
  • Develop building system interfaces and querying data tables.
  • Collaborate with IT Billing Development and Testing team, along with other IT members on ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct testing of the enhanced integration interface between Astound’s customer management platform, and downstream provisioning systems and network technologies.
  • Follow departmental processes procedures and produced required documentation.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in time-sensitive situations; aptitude to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of computer networks and data types structures such as SQL.
  • General understanding of databases structures including XML.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.

 

Education:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

 

Compensation:

The base compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. The base pay represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job.
