Job Description

We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in developing and implementing the backend systems for our AI chatroom project. This project aims to provide a highly personalized and efficient educational advising experience, helping users navigate their academic and career pathways with ease and confidence.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement backend systems for the AI chatroom, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Integrate with LinkedIn and other platforms for personalized user profiles.
- Develop APIs for advanced course and college search functionality.
- Implement AI algorithms for tailored academic advising and career pathway insights.
- Build interactive chatroom experiences with real-time communication capabilities.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy controls for user data.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and data scientists to create a seamless user experience.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Django, Flask, or similar.
- Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and tools.
- Strong understanding of web security and data protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
