Content Creator Intern

We are proud to announce the development of the A7FL Internship Program, providing opportunities for college students and those looking to expand their network and experience in the sports management and entertainment field. We welcome passionate and hard-working individuals that are looking to get hands-on with a football team or even the league offices.

We offer two internship seasons, pre-season (Aug-March) and in-season (March-July), but an internship can begin at any time. Most of our interns work both seasons, and many of our interns go on to a paid position after their internship period is over.

As we build up our marketing and reporting team we would like you to review our openings and see if you may be a good fit to join the league. If so, we would love to review your resume and cover letter outlining your education path, experience related in any way to the internship position, and links to any relevant work you may have produced or contributed to.

Although not a mandate, we are very interested in candidates located in or near our division locations in Asbury Park, New Jersey; Washington DC; Orlando/Tampa, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada; Cincinnati/Columbus, Ohio, and Los Angeles, California.

Description: Content Creator interns will assist in video, video edit, photo, design, and content creation for publication via social media, website and newsletters. Must be able to show examples of your passion for social media and sports. This is an unpaid internship that can be taken for college credit.

Requirements:
· Currently working towards a college degree or a recent grad
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Hardworking and diligent
· Good communication skills and English proficiency
· Must have a laptop
· Must be able to work flexible hours and some weekends in-season
· Willing to work weekends in-season
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred
· Positions are for college credit and are unpaid

Responsibilities (will consist of but are not limited to):
· Assist in content creation for social media related to photos, video, gif, and meme creation.
· Assist in creating content for YouTube and other social platforms
· Analyze opportunities to grow our social media reach
· Planning and storyboarding of new content
· Attend games and training session in markets (If you are located there)
· Cover Sunday games as needed for social media
· Willing to work weekends in-season
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Responsibilities (will consist of but are not limited to):
· Manage league, division, and team social media communities
· Develop new league Snapchat and TikTok platforms
· Answer questions from communities
· Grow communities by developing relationships with influencers and sports-related channels
· Analyze opportunities to grow our social media reach
· Monitor and manage social on Sunday games days and training session in markets (If you are located there, remote if you are not)
