Communications Intern

The Communications team is looking for an intern to explore the capabilities of AI algorithms to develop a strategic plan and develop a year's worth of engaging social media content for iPrescribe, create a database of competitive intelligence for landscape analysis, and draft a crisis communication plan in collaboration with the communications team.

Overview

This is a full-time position that will span over the course of 10 weeks. The program will start Monday, June 3rd and end Friday, August 9th.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize AI tools to analyze user preferences, industry trends, and brand messaging, thereby generating a year's worth of dynamic and relevant social media content for iPrescribe
  • Review, organize, and categorize existing data to facilitate in-depth analysis of the competitive landscape, incorporating insights from the Klue platform and other relevant sources
  • Work closely with the VP of Communications and team members to develop a comprehensive crisis communication plan aimed at effectively managing and mitigating potential crises

  • Learn to analyze audience preferences and assess outcomes effectively
  • Comprehend the components of competitive analysis and how to structure it to support business decision-making
  • Understand the fundamentals of crisis communications planning

Qualifications 

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Complete the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Assessment with a passing score
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
