Sales and Marketing Internship (Unpaid)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Sales and Marketing Intern to assist with our sales and marketing content efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a small minority and woman-owned language services company. Our goal is to increase our client base and strengthen our presence. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, possesses strong communication skills, and is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and grow client relationships through prospecting, networking, phone calls, and email outreach
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and expectations
- Follow up on leads and capitalize on potential business opportunities
- Prioritize and meet monthly sales targets
- Monitor and record monthly sales performance
- Assist in planning and scheduling sales activities in alignment with marketing initiatives
- Work closely with different areas of the company to ensure sales content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing goals
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus!)
- Creative thinking and ability to generate fresh, innovative ideas
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude and a desire to learn
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a collaborative team environment
- Located in or around the New York City area and able to commute to our office in New York City at least once a week
- Ability to work between 8-20 hours per week as needed
