Position: Non-profit Events & Marketing Intern

One of our most exciting community events each year is our annual walk against domestic violence. This year, we’re rebranding and adding a 5k to the highly anticipated event. Introducing Partners' Spooky Strides for Strength: 5K & Walk Against Domestic Violence! Taking place on October 27th, the Partners walk is a highlight of our calendar and an event looked forward to by many in the NJ legal community. Partners seeks an intern to support all activities and work on this fundraising event for the fall. Your tasks may include (and are not limited to):

  • Event preparation (day of logistics, contacting sponsors, working with vendors, advertising, managing the registrants)
  • Outreach to organizations for in-kind gifts
  • Outreach to pro bono lawyers working with our firm
  • Database management
  • Bulk mailings
  • Administrative work as necessary

We are looking for an intern who possesses the following skills:

  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Time management
  • Computer skills; excel and data entry
  • Critical thinking/problem solving

This internship is a great opportunity for anyone interested in non-profits or event planning. Partners is a small organization, so you will be working closely with the three people who make up the Events & Communications team. This will allow you to develop so many important skills that will look amazing on your resume. We’re looking forward to providing you with an enriching internship experience. If you are interested in applying for this position, please reach out to Jamie Linton, Development Associate, at jlinton@partnersnj.org or 973-233-0111 x213.
