CAD Specifier - Entry Level
JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary role of the CAD Specifier is to provide support to project managers and sales with direct support in CAD, Furniture and Project specification. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare floor plans, Isometric drawings, elevations, and specifications (as needed)using AutoCAD, CAP and CET.
- Interpret client specifications to render floor plans and related items using AutoCAD and CET.
- Demonstrate exceptional decision making and creative thinking skills.
- Timely responses to internal clients and solicitation of applicable data to complete tasks
- Self-starter who keeps abreast of new products, trends, processes, and techniques
- Detail oriented
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced AutoCAD 2018 or higher required
- CAP 2020 preferred
- MillerKnoll System's furniture experience a plus.
- CET experience a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Technology, or related field is a plus
- Professional, proactive work ethic and able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced, chaotic atmosphere where multi-tasking, time management and attention to detail are critical to meet multiple, ongoing deadlines.
- Must understand design components and think outside the box.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Solid interpersonal skills and effective relationship building with internal teams
- Strong analytical approach to problem solving.
