Graphic Design Internship, Fall 2024 (Based in Washington, DC)

What you get to do: 

As part of the Graphic Design Team, this intern will work in coordination with multiple teams throughout Markham on various projects under the direct supervision of the graphic design team. Responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:

  • Researching and sourcing design materials
  • Helping create designs, logos, and branding for event materials
  • Helping create mock-ups of merchandise and renderings of event displays
  • Helping coordinate timelines and deadlines as needed

Experience using:

  • Adobe Suite
    • Proficient in: Photoshop, Illustrator
    • Familiarity with: InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Keynote
  • Google (Docs, Slides, and Sheets)

 

COMPENSATION 

This is a paid, part-time internship with the opportunity to pick up more hours outside business hours and on the weekends. $18 per hour.

 

APPLICATION PROCESS

The application period for the Fall 2024 graphic design internship is now open, and we are reviewing applications on a rolling basis. The dates of the Fall internship will begin in late August and will end mid-January, with some flexibility. While most of the work will be virtual/remote, applicants will need to be based on the East Coast or able to work East Coast hours.
