Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications from scratch using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and React JS. Your primary focus will be to create innovative solutions and deliver high-quality user interfaces while collaborating closely with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop responsive, high-performance web pages and components from scratch using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. 
  • Build and optimize user interfaces for speed, scalability, and accessibility using React JS. 
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes and prototypes into interactive and functional web pages. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend APIs and frontend components. 
  • Maintain code quality through effective version control (e.g., Git) and thorough testing. 
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance across browsers and devices. 
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies to improve development practices continuously. 

 

Requirements 

  • Proven experience (3-5+ years) in frontend development with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript frameworks like React JS. 
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. 
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux or Context API). 
  • Proficiency in using Git for version control. 
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques. 
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into frontend applications. 
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and ability to implement inclusive designs. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with TypeScript. 
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library. 
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS). 
  • Experience in working within Agile development environments. 
  • Basic understanding of backend development principles (e.g., Node.js). 
  • Previous experience working in a startup environment is a huge plus, as it demonstrates adaptability and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
