Computer Instructor

The Episo Foundation is seeking to onboard a Computer/Technology Instructor for our technology training program. This individual would need to be comfortable with/instructing individuals from different backgrounds; as well as those who might have minimal to some computer's skills.  

As we do not discriminate against anyone, hence, the program is open to ALL; yet is designed to train, motivate and assist veterans, women, young adults, high-school students and the non-University bound populations with an opportunity to gain technology skills, employment and the ability to contribute to society.  

The program provides assessment and enhancement of basic to advance technology skills through counseling, mentoring, tutoring and academic instruction in the core technology subject area(s) via an in-person (New Jersey/New York area) and/or hybrid model. The primary goal of the program is to increase the rate at which participants enroll in, earn certifications and graduate from our program. 

Similarly, the perfect individual is:  

1. Have an Associate degree plus five (5) years of experience; and/or a Bachelor’s degree/higher in the information/technology/computer fields;  
2. Willing to submit to a TREASURY DEPARTMENT background check; 
3. State Police Request for Criminal Records Check; 
4. Federal Criminal History Record Information; 
5. Child Abuse History Clearance; 
6. Applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening; 
7. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, asylee, refugee, or lawful permanent resident; 
8. The applicant is nimble and can pivot according to market/program demand; 
9. A lifelong learner as technology is constantly changing; 
10. Overseeing a team of assistants as needed; 
11. Updating and advising the Executive Team, Board Members and Third-party partners; 
12. Generally requires up to 25-35% travel but may exceed if necessary; And 
13. The incumbent must possess a valid driver's license;

As well as, Liberal Arts majors are highly encouraged to apply!!

The Episo Foundation may also add other duties as assigned once hired, based on what is included and allowed by the position description and state/federal regulations;
