Position: Membership Renewal Representative

Duration: 3-4 Weeks starting August 6th

Hours: 9a.m-3p.m – Monday through Thursday

Compensation: $17/hour

Location: This position requires you to be onsite at NJCPA, 105 Eisenhower Parkway, Suite 300, Roseland, NJ 07068

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with membership renewal outreach for the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). This temporary position involves contacting NJCPA members who have not yet renewed their memberships and updating our database with their responses.

Key Responsibilities:

Member Outreach: Call approximately 1100 NJCPA members to remind them about membership renewal and the benefits of membership. A script will be provided.

Database Management: Accurately record members' responses and update the membership database accordingly.

Follow-up Communication: Handle follow-up calls or emails as needed to ensure members have the information required to renew.

Data Verification: Verify and correct member contact information in the database to ensure accuracy.

Requirements:

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when updating and managing membership data.

Quick Learner: Ability to quickly understand the membership renewal process and the tools used for database management.

Interest in CPA and Accounting Profession: A genuine interest in the CPA and accounting field.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service or telemarketing is a plus.

Familiarity with database systems and data entry.
