Campus Title: Internship & Pathways Assistant

Budget Title: Career Planning & Development Assistant

Department: Future Ready Pathways, Workforce/Micro-credentials, Career Services, Concurrent Enrollment

Professional Rank and Salary Range: SL-1, $27.00/hour (grant-funded)

Schedule: Approximately 15 hours a week, this may fluctuate based on need and availability of candidate. While we are looking to create a set schedule upon hire, we are flexible and able to work with candidate's schedule.

Duration: This position will run for 1-year in support of the 2024-2025 academic year. This is a part-time, temporary, grant-funded role that has potential to be extended dependent on funding and campus need.

Brief Description of Duties:

SUNY Morrisville is seeking a part-time Internship and Pathways Assistant to support the Office of Career Services. The Internship and Pathways Assistant will assist with creating a structure and database to capture and assess our internship experiences for students on and off campus.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with college school offices to review and monitor current intern program and student engagement
  • Assist in creation of structure to support data and will manage data
  • Scheduling support
  • Supporting with campus events
  • Supporting team with customer service - answering phones, emails, etc.
  • Assisting and advising students with regards to career services

 

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in progress
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience working with students
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
