ESG Intern

 

Key Role:

We are seeking an ESG Intern to join our ESG team and assist in ensuring the timely and accurate collection of data. As an ESG Intern, you will collaborate with the ESG Department to support data collection and verification, ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year submissions, GRESB Gap Analyses, and tool development. This position is ideal for college students or recent graduates looking to gain valuable professional experience in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues.

 

Timeframe:

Fall Internship: 16-20 hours per week

 

Primary Job Duties:

As an ESG Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in collecting data and drafting narratives for ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year.
  • Reviewing and analyzing ESG reports, including GRESB and CDP.
  • Supporting data collection and processing efforts for energy, waste, and water.
  • Developing tools and/or improved processes for ESG reporting and data assurance.
  • Collaborating with data analysts to ensure proper documentation.
  • Reviewing policies and updating current policies within SIG templates.
  • Conducting research on emerging ESG data trends.
  • Maintaining daily work logs for specific projects.

Required Education: University degree in progress (or recently graduated with a B.S. or B.A.). The ideal candidate will be studying or will have recently studied Environmental Science, Sustainability, Biology, Business, Architecture, Engineering or Data Analytics concentrations.
