UCH is seeking a Social Media and Events Intern searching for an opportunity to showcase their creativity and social media skills in an internship experience! If you are flexible, outgoing, great at building relationships and ready for an internship where you ‘jump in’ – we are looking for you!
What You Will Be Doing
This full-time or part-time role emphasizes creativity, social media knowledge, and flexibility in attending exciting events. You will be an integral part of assisting the marketing team in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and resident engagement. We are a fun team and you are the missing piece!
Social Media and Events Intern Duties include but are not limited to:
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos/reels, and written posts, to promote our properties and services.
- Communicate effectively with prospective and current residents in person, over the phone, and by written correspondence as needed (email, website, and social media).
- Planning and designing monthly social media marketing calendars for multiple properties; coordinating with property managers for content generation.
- Learn leasing and sales skills to assist in social media production (including scheduling appointments, conducting tours, preparing and organizing lease paperwork).
- Assisting in planning and executing resident and lead generation events .
- Building partnerships with local businesses to provide value to residents.
- Organize Canva assets and other media asset libraries.
- Support other marketing and administrative tasks as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Social Media and Events Intern Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
- Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok professional experience preferred.
- Flexibility with hours and days worked; weekend availability required.
- Canva, Capcut, Wordpress, and Adobe Suite experience a plus!
