Project Overview: The UX/UI Designer will play a pivotal role in a groundbreaking project with Revlon, aimed at building a software platform that allows Revlon’s R&D team to optimize their future product portfolio. This platform will enable data-driven decision-making by optimizing key variables like sales, gross margin, and growth over a 5-year period. The project is designed to foster collaboration and strategic thinking across all levels of the Revlon team, from C-suite executives to bench scientists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discovery & Research: Collaborate with Revlon’s Chief Scientific Officer and team to define and design the initial version of the software platform. Conduct stakeholder discussions to identify user needs, pain points, and preferences for various user types.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop detailed wireframes for the first version of the platform, ensuring they meet user needs and business goals. Create interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
  • UI Design: Design intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces for the platform’s key components, including the Optimization & Goals Tool, Comparison to Goal visualization, and Project Viewer. Ensure that the design is cohesive, consistent, and aligned with Revlon’s brand identity.
  • User Testing: Conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback on the wireframes and prototypes. Analyze the results to iterate and refine the designs, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet project objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with ProMazo’s development team to ensure the seamless translation of designs into functional software. Provide clear and detailed design specifications and assets for implementation.
  • Interaction Design: Design dynamic and interactive elements that enhance user engagement, allowing users to explore and manipulate data visualizations effectively.
  • Responsiveness & Accessibility: Ensure the platform is fully responsive and accessible to all user types, including considerations for different devices, screen sizes, and user abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work on complex software platforms.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and interaction design is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment is a plus.
