Inside Sales Qualifier
Unishippers #1700 is hiring for an opportunity for a fall part-time (15 hours a week), work-from-home position as a sales lead qualifier to uncover new UPS opportunities.
This unique opportunity offers mentorship and hands-on training with a women-owned franchise. With over 16 years of successful experience working with Unishippers and logistics, this franchise is a great place to start or further your career. The ideal candidate will have a sales background or is pursuing a major or minor in the Sales field.
In this role, you will develop your business communication skillset by working with contacts within an organization, ranging from receptionists to various C-level employees via the phone. This part-time position will teach you how to overcome challenges and gain success while working over the phone (inside sales) to develop qualified lead sources for UPS (small parcel). It's a great way to gain field experience with the e-commerce and wholesale industry! This position not only teaches you the basics but also offers a promising path for career growth into a full-time Shipping Consultant role after graduation if applicable.
You will be measured by completing the recommended daily dials and uncovering the new opportunities for businesses that can benefit from our services.
YOUR TASKS:
- The candidate will be responsible for calling on a list of pre-generated leads through a tool that organizes the contacts, notes and allocates the contact into the appropriate follow-up folder.
- Outlook and being computer efficient are essential.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal style
- Excellent organizational skills, including having the ability to listen while taking notes
- Ability to contribute by working independently and effectively as a member of a high-functioning team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Excellent telephone manners (courteous/professional/friendly) are a must
