Chief Data Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Data Officer (CDO) to join our team and lead our data strategy. The CDO will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance program, ensuring the quality and security of our data assets, and driving data-driven decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic data governance program that ensures data quality, security, and accessibility.
  • Lead the development and execution of a data analytics strategy that leverages data to improve decision making, optimize operations, and drive innovation.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of data management policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Champion a data-driven culture throughout the organization by fostering collaboration between business units and data teams.
  • Identify and evaluate new data technologies and solutions to support the organization's data strategy.
  • Build and manage a high-performing data team with expertise in data governance, data analytics, and data engineering.
  • Partner with the CIO and other senior leaders to ensure alignment between the data strategy and the overall business strategy.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful data governance programs.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data quality, data security, and data privacy regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing data teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
