Phase 2 Curriculum Coordinator
Summary:
The Office of Undergraduate Medical Education administers the medical school curriculum, coordinates the content and sequence of courses, and promotes innovative learning, teaching, and evaluation of techniques. The Phase 2 Curriculum Coordinator will support all aspects of the medical school curriculum with a focus on clinical studies that occur in the clerkship and post-clerkship curriculum. The Phase 2 Curriculum Coordinator acts as an administrative liaison and provides project management support at the direction of the Phase 2 Program Director. This includes but is not limited to:
- Efficiently prepares and communicates curricular information to Clerkship and Course Directors, content leaders, faculty, and students
- Attends and participates in curricular committees and other curricular related meetings
- Coordinates and/or assists with coordination of medical school courses
- Acts as front line contact and liaison between students, faculty, and administrators
- Attends to curricular projects and tasks, as assigned
- Schedules learning sessions including room reservations or video conference, as needed
- Timely management and maintenance of curricular materials within the learning management system (LMS) and other platforms
- Assists with administration of exams
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant professional work experience required. Excellent written/oral communication, analytical and computer skills required. Interest in medical education desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior administrative experience in an academic and/or clinical setting preferred.
