Fulltime: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Mon – Fri

Pay rate: $45k -55k,  based on skills and experience.

Summary: 

As an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in the success of our Dealer relationships by providing top-tier support and guidance. You will act as a key liaison between our internal teams and our Dealers, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of orders, quotes, and project updates. As Account Manager, you will focus on delivering excellent customer service, project coordination, and support the sales process, particularly for jobs approaching closure. 

 

What you will do:

  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for all dealer and Outside Sales team, providing timely support and solutions. 
  • Respond to dealer emails and calls, answering questions and resolving concerns. 
  • Provide support on new quotes, assist with technical questions, and offer updates on orders in production. 
  • Provide technical information for Outside Sales reps by leveraging internal resources such as CAD and Engineering.
  • Work closely with production, purchasing, and engineering teams to keep dealers informed on the status of orders and resolve any production issues. 
  • Partner with Sales Representatives to track and review active jobs, focusing on those nearing completion. 
  • Participate in weekly production meetings to stay updated on job progress and address any potential delays.
  • Coordinate with Sales Representatives to review projects at a 95% probability to close or higher, ensuring timely communication and order updates. 
  • Assist in managing the lifecycle of close-to-cash projects, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to production.
  • Manage the custom color coordination process by conducting color matching consultations or confirming color sign-offs when Unique Color IDs are provided by the dealer. 
  • Maintain accurate records in Watch for each custom color project to ensure seamless coordination between internal teams and the dealer.
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date order status updates to dealers, ensuring transparency and maintaining a high level of service. 
  • Collaborate with the internal team to resolve project delays or issues during the manufacturing process, keeping all parties informed.
  • Process sample requests to support the sales process and maintain efficient communication throughout the deal lifecycle. 
  • Support the sales process by coordinating with internal teams, providing status updates, and maintaining accurate documentation in company systems.

 

What you will need: 

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service or account management, preferably in manufacturing or the building materials industry. 
  • Excellent Microsoft, Salesforce and ERP software systems experience.  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with Dealers, Sales Representatives, and internal teams. 
  • Familiarity with CAD/Engineering is a plus.
