Civil Works, Inc. is pleased to share we have a new opportunity for an entry level Civil Engineer to join our firm in Doral, FL!

In the role of Civil Engineer, CWI will count on you to contribute on a multi-faceted project team with design, analysis and coordination responsibilities for multiple projects, and producing successful project outcomes.

The core work will be on roadway and/or drainage projects, and others as assigned.

Requirements

· BS in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university

· EIT certification

· Must demonstrate proficiency with design platforms and software such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil3D

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our Civil Works Team

Location: This is a full-time, in-office position.

Travel: If any travel is required, it is primarily local during the business day. Some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required, according to the needs of the business.

Benefits for regular full-time employees include:

· 80 hours of accrued vacation time

· 40 hours of accrued sick time

· Holidays – 5 paid holidays, and we are closed the week between Christmas and New Years!

· Medical and Life Insurance - CWI pays 100% of the insurance premiums for Employee Only coverage. Dependent coverage and other benefits such as dental, vision, etc., are the responsibility of the employee.

We specialize in assisting clients in the development of Florida's growing transportation, infrastructure, storm water control, environmental, commercial, residential and recreational needs. Company experience includes projects for public sector clients such as the Florida Department of Transportation, Miami-Dade, Broward, other Florida Counties and their municipalities. Private sector client projects have included traffic studies and development plans for hotels, shopping centers, commercial and residential complexes. Our current primary focus is FDOT 3R Milling and Resurfacing projects.
