Multimedia Communications Intern
The incoming intern will be responsible supporting the production of a wide array of communication materials to promote the work being developed by AreaProbe, including news articles, videos, infographics, brochures, booklets, webpages, and social media content, as well as other outreach materials aimed at raising awareness about the organization's initiatives.
The Internship Program is unpaid and part-time. Interns are expected to work up to 20 hours per week.
The intern will assist with various multimedia and communication-related tasks, contributing to AreaProbe’s mission to be the leader in innovative real estate analytics. The intern’s primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Assisting with the creation, editing, and production of multimedia content (videos, podcasts, infographics, social media posts) for our various platforms.
No working experience is required to apply, your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit our organization during your internship. However, for this position, a university degree in the area of media, communications, graphic design and/or multimedia arts, journalism, marketing, public relations, international studies, photography or a closely related field is required.
For this position the following skills are desirable: Proficiency in multimedia tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).
Strong interest in multimedia production, including video, audio, and social media content creation. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in English. Knowledge of Spanish, French, German is an asset.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Be computer literate in design software and standard video, including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop; Canva.
