Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Role Description
This is a full-time teaching position in our Secondary Mathematics department. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students according to the set curricular standards while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment rooted in the love of Jesus for all children. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- Leading Chapel or SEL lessons
- Supervising students in various contexts
- Attending and contributing to departmental and whole-school meetings
- Collaborating on a variety of school improvement initiatives
- Corresponding with parents, colleagues, and administration
- Engaging in regular professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics education or mathematics-related field
- Knowledge of best practices in the instruction of mathematics to secondary students
- Familiarity with the main strands of mathematics standards: ratios and proportional relationships, the number system, expressions and equations, geometry, functions, and statistics and probability
- A valid teaching license (preferred)
- experience working with older children in a classroom setting.
- faith in Jesus Christ and the desire to continue to grow in relationship with Him.
- English as a first language.
Compensation
Starting salary of around ฿410,000-฿800,000. Salary increases according to and depending on type(s) of degree(s), teaching certification, pre-ICSN experience, and years of experience at ICSN.
