Entry-Level Sales Consultant

The 7C Agency in Parsippany is looking to fill an Entry-Level Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This is a Full-time position and will be fully ON-SITE. Those with experience in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, or any Leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

Our team at 7C Parsippany is looking for a competitive and results-driven Sales Consultant with a passion for cultivating relationships with customers, to increase sales for our clients. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing and identifying customers’ needs to improve and increase sales. Your daily duties include preparing and giving sales presentations to customers, helping process sales orders, and resolving customer complaints.

The ideal candidate is someone able to educate consumers on the benefits of our clients products and services, negotiate terms and successfully process sales. Our Sales Consultant must have strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers. Above all, in-depth knowledge of our products and services is a must, along with a confident and enthusiastic approach to each customer.

Sales Consultant Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote, and process sale of products and services to current and new customers
  • Analyze and identify customers’ needs and wishes
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Coordinate with other representatives and departments
  • Analyze market potential, trends, and best practices
  • Prepare and give sales presentations
  • Implement sales efforts in marketing programs
  • Answer questions about product specifications, prices, and availability
  • Schedule meetings and presentations with customers
  • Develop and implement action plans by conducting data analysis
  • Maintain professional and trustworthy relationships with customers

Sales Consultant Requirements:

  • Some Education in business, marketing, communications, economics, or a similar field
  • Previous working experience in marketing, sales, or customer service
  • Ability to learn fast and understand products
  • Knowledge of sales processes and dynamics
  • Outstanding communication, and presentation skills
  • Commitment to results and excellent customer service
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm
  • Ability to build and maintain productive and trusty business relationships
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
