Azure Data Integration Architect
Summary
As a result of our continued growth, we are actively seeking a seasoned Azure Data Integration Architect to join our collaborative StatimRx team in support of our expanding line of business. As a key contributor, your expertise in developing cohesive solutions, primarily focusing on the company's data warehouse, will be crucial.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Integration Expertise: Utilize your experience with Azure technologies to design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust integration solutions that contribute to a fully automated and integrated data model.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain excellent attention to detail, applying a logical approach to problem-solving under pressure. Actively communicate on technical issues that may impact client delivery.
- Effective Team Communication: Possess strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and impactfully within the team and in high-pressure situations. Contribute positively to team discussions and challenge ideas respectfully to drive innovative solutions.
- Adherence to Compliance: Follows company policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of information processed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and IT departments, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration. Understand and address pain points, contribute to the development roadmap, and champion best practices.

Azure Data Architect Tasks
- Data and Database Architecture & Design: Ability to interpret, normalize, and optimize data models within the context of the core logistics business.
- Azure Integration Solutions: Design, develop, deploy and maintain integration solutions using Azure technologies.
- Python Development: Utilize Python skills to evolve integration requirements between services and platforms, ensuring a unified and cohesive approach.
- Data Warehouse Optimization: Work collectively to take ownership of building technical solutions that fully exploit the internal data warehouse capability.
- API Management: Integrate and manage APIs across the technology space.
- Strategic Catalyst: Regularly evaluate the data integration strategy, ensuring alignment with business needs, stakeholder objectives, industry standards, and emerging technology trends.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Architects and the Data Analytics team, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure seamless integration.
- Documentation: Collaboratively create and maintain processes, services, and technical documentation to support the team's objectives.
Qualifications
Requires five (5) years of experience in a similar role. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field preferred.
Key Competencies:
- Proven experience as an Azure Integration Developer
- In-depth knowledge of ETL processes, database design, data integration, and data mining.
- Proficient in writing performance-optimized SQL queries and procedures.
- Strong background in designing and implementing complex integration solutions.
- Proficiency in Azure technologies. Prior AWS experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in working with logistics or drug/pharmaceutical claims is a plus.
- Skilled in acquiring Azure documentation for research and best practices.
- Python programming skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, able to communicate appropriately and on time.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, manuals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to prepare reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, clients, board members and/or other employees of the organization. Effective project management skills a must. Basic Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills required with a basic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principals.

Work Environment
The position is a hybrid position with 2 – 3 days office presence in Milwaukee, WI required. The colleague may perform work-related travel on rare occasions with an emphasis on travel for impact.
