The Role:
We are looking for a skilled Endpoint Engineer who will assist in developing, planning, implementing, and managing the DOJ’s endpoints including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, systems software and licenses, and print management.
This position will work on technical issues from both upper and lower-level positions, involving endpoint, network and/or systems modifications.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for planning, developing, and managing Department applications and network systems
- Developing and implementing technical assistance services
- Ensure the implementation of endpoint security measures and policies to protect organizational data.
- Monitor endpoint performance and implement enhancements to optimize user experience.
- Provide advanced technical support for endpoint-related issues, escalating complex problems as necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
- Two years of education in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Two years of job-related experience in a network or systems administrator role.
- Strong technical knowledge of endpoint devices, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
- Skills in
- Managing complex and varied system development and administration projects
- Isolating and resolving advanced technical problems
- Communicating well with people of varied technical levels
- Managing multiple tasks and workflow
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or equivalent.
- Experience with VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Endpoint Configuration Manager, Active Directory and Windows Server products.
- Other experience with MS Autopilot, MS Intune, and MDM solutions are also a bonus.

- This is a permanent full-time position and located in Helena, Montana.
- Special Information: Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. A valid driver's license is required with less than 12 conviction points in the most recent completed 36 months.
