About our Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Program
This program is designed to train technicians to support engineers by transforming ideas, rough sketches, specifications, and calculations into precise and comprehensive working drawings. Additionally, students receive instruction in three Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) courses, equipping them for employment in organizations that utilize computer-assisted engineering and design.

What are the Position Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a major in drafting and design technology, civil or mechanical engineering OR an Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution in discipline and demonstrated competencies in the discipline
- The school of ETAM is seeking a teaching professional with industry experience in the Built Environment disciplines and practical construction management skills in the following areas:
- Hands-On Experience: Significant experience overseeing construction projects.
- BIM Proficiency: Expertise in using BIM software for planning, design, and management.
- Drafting Skills: Proficiency in CAD tools for construction documentation and design instruction.
- The candidate must be able to be credentialed to teach a range of construction-related courses, which may include some of the following: Estimating, Scheduling, Contracts/Codes, Building Systems, Architectural Drawing/Design, Materials, BIM/Revit, CADD, and 3D Printing
- This position will require both online and face to face teaching modalities to teach courses listed: here
- Contract Workload: 10-Month Tenure Track
- (5) 3-contact hour classes per term (fall/spring); (2) 3-contact hour classes in one summer term or equivalent.
- 10 student engagement hours and 10 college service hours per week for a minimum 35 hour work week
- The length of contract is in accordance with the academic calendar
- Please note that you will need to establish Florida residency within 30 days from your start date if selected for this position.

Salary Information:
Salary is determined based on relevant work experience and the highest degree earned. The salary ranges for each degree level are outlined below:
10 month Tenure Track
Associate’s $44,138-$62,894
Bachelors $45,538-$64,294
Masters $49,038-$67,794
Masters+30 $52,538-$67,794
Doctorate $56,038-$76,044
