In this role: 
FBAs develop policy issues, review budget requests, and analyze legislation that contributes to the development of the Governor’s annual budget. Responsibilities:  

  • Help the Governor make important decisions that impact California.  
  • Review, analyze, and make recommendations on legislative bills.   
  • Collaborate with high-level government officials, legislative staff, and various stakeholders.  

 

Experience Requirement: 

  • Four years of experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties. Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. 
  • Knowledge of State Government 
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and pivot tasks as needed
