Position Overview: 

The goal of the Program Manager is to design, launch and handle different programs for one of our automotive OEM clientele. This person will review and confirm program elements from the stakeholders, develop and maintain program work plan, facilitate tactical and strategic review meetings and manage overall all the projects and team. The manager is also a strategic leader, responsible for proactive considerations on the projects, acting as a trusted advisor for your client contacts.

In this position, and company in general, there's a high level of project ownership. Though you will be managing the full programs, having a deep understanding of the analytics and processes of each one will help you to be successful in this role. There's also high exposure to upper management, as our smaller but dynamic environment allows for your work to be highly notable.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for overseeing a variety of complex programs and confirming various project elements with the stakeholders and business users. 

• Responsible for planning and scheduling project goals, milestones and deliverables; designing, developing as well as production/release of the applications. 

• Responsible for keeping the projects on track and possessing the ability to foresee the entire project as a whole at all times. 

• Ensures that all the technology projects follow the standard procedures that are used in the management and deployment of projects. 

• Undertake strategy creation for contingency planning and risk mitigation. 

• Facilitate tactical and strategic review meetings with various stakeholders, vendor meetings, weekly status meetings, quarterly executive management updates and other meetings as needed. 

• Develop proposals for Requests for Purchases for external services as required/Prepare SOW as needed. 

• Exhibits leadership qualities to define requirements for project risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record; Advanced degree or MBA is preferred

• 5+ years of business management or consulting experience in a reputed company

• 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics solutions and executive reporting/dashboarding

• Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, business development, marketing, supply chain management, product development, and project management

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment

• Initiative taker, eager to break new ground and create opportunities for others

• Analytical thinker adept at creative problem-solving

• Willingness to take personal risks - as seen through leadership roles - in work environment and extracurricular activities

• Experience in the automotive industry, including knowledge of fixed operations, is preferred
