The Division of Engineering Services (DES), Program/Project Management & Office Engineer (PPM&OE), Office of Program Management (OPM), Project Management Applications Support Branch (PMASB) is recruiting to fill a Research Data Analyst (RDA) II position, located in Sacramento.

Under direct supervision of the Project Management Applications and Support Branch Chief, a Senior Bridge or Transportation Engineer, the Research Data Analyst II (RDA II) functions as data acquisition and reporting analyst for the Division of Engineering Services (DES). The RDA II coordinates the collection, compilation, analysis, and interpretation of DES' VISION (Web application with SQL database) and Power BI, for use in database documentation, guidance, reports, and other applications. The data will also be used by the incumbent to provide technical support for VISION users, perform troubleshooting, and recommend enhancements to the VISION system. The incumbent will assist in reporting tools development and serve as VISION backup support for the Project Management Applications and Support Branch. The incumbent will be the leading expert within DES on VISION information and will be responsible for VISION training.
