Taxpayer Assisted Tenant Services Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Adjusting Resident ledgers and accounts for Housing Agency’s Change in Shares
  • Corresponding with various Subsidy Agencies regarding discrepancies in renewal increases, payments received and contract rents.
  • Responsible for problem resolution on residential billing inquiries from other departments
  • Review Resident monthly charge reports to ensure accuracy to facilitate rent bill processing
  • Liaise with Property Management Team to ensure best in class customer service for all residential tenants

Requirements:

  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi- task
  • Ability to work within a time-sensitive environment, be proactive and be able to handle confidential material
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Excellent oral, written and telephonic communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good follow up skills
  • Act with a sense of urgency
